Northern Victoria Show Jumping Club ran a show in Shepparton on the 10th and 11th of October which we had planned on taking the horses to. Unfortunately on the Friday morning Paul woke up very unwell and for the first time in many years visited the doctor and had a chest infection so we missed that show but attended the Port Phillip Show Jumping Club’s Future Stars Show the following weekend. We had a great time with perfect weather and great tracks as always by Russell Morrison. All the young horses jumped well with Jennifer Parlevliet’s Vicki placing 3rd in the 1.04m and our young stallion Fontaine Blue VDL placed 4th in the 1.15m and stepped up to his first 1.20m jumping double clean and placing 5th.
October also saw the birth of our only foal for the season. We had a happy and healthy embryo transfer filly foal.
