March was a busy month starting off at Lang Lang. In what has been a hot summer they had the arena beautifully prepared and fantastic courses by David Sheppard. Cavalli Park Aliyah was 4th in the 1.20m and we were so happy with Kablesse Kavita who stepped up to jump in the Young Horse Championship, jumping double clean. A big congraultions to student Jamie Ellis and Centaur MVNZ placing 5th in the 1.20m and 4th in the Young Horse Championship.

The following weekend we headed off to Shepparton where the NVSJC did a wonderful job running their show in hot and humid conditions. The cold drinking water at ring 1 was much appreciated!! All the ponies were good with our two Animate daughters coming home in the money. Cavalli Park Aliyah winning the under 50 points Championship and Cavalli Park Annibell 2nd in the 1.30m and 3rd in the 1.40m.

We could not be happier with our team of horses at the 2016 Dressage and Jumping with the Stars held from the 17th till the 19th of March. Cavalli Park Annibell won the Current Stars and all three of our 6 year olds qualified for the finals. Kablesse Kavita 2nd, Fontaine Blue VDL 3rd and Cavalli Park Aliyah 5th overall. Gleneagles Romeo also jumped well to only just miss out on the finals for the 4 year olds.

We then enjoyed celebrating Easter at the YVJC Easter Show held at Wandin Park. Olivia very much enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and is still working her way through all the eggs! We were very happy with all the horses. John Findlay’s 4 year old Gleneagles Romeo jumped clean in both 1.05m classes. Kablesse Kavita didn’t have a rail all show and stepped up to her first 1.30m placing 5th. Cavalli Park Aliyah is so consistent, placing 2nd in the 1.25m and winning the 1.30m.
