Through both his sire and dam, the talented Kobalt descends from the famous Sina mare line: a line that has produced a lot of Grand Prix horses. Sire Modesto, with his rider Jean Marc Nicolas, was for several years one of the most successful Grand Prix horses in the world and his offspring seem to inherit a lot of Modesto’s qualities. Sires Calido, Nimmerdor and Lucky Boy xx belong to the best jumper producers in the sport horse breeding. Grandmother is sister of the Grand Prix jumper Emmerton VDL and the great grand dam is sister of the Grand Prix stallion Modesto.
Palmares
Kobalt was placed 6th in the Championship at the KWPN stallion approvals in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In the stallion test he again proved himself with a very good overall score of 83 points, which makes him one of the best and most interesting stallions of his age group. Ridden by James Billington, Kobalt has jumped his first competitions, he stands out with its attitude, reflexes and jumping technique. Kobalts his first foals show blood and quality.
