It has been a very busy Septmeber indeed! We began with the fabulous Boneo Cup. Boneo Park have the most wonderful grass arena that rode beautifully all weekend, even after all the rain we have been having. All the horses jumped well but with tough interstate competition the ponies were just out of the money.
The following Friday the jumping started at the Australian Championships at Werribee. Congratulations to the committee for all the hard work they put in to running a fantastic Australian Titles. The weather did not cooperate but all efforts were made to make it the best it could be. We were so thrilled with Kavita, in only her second season competing she placed 3rd in the Future Stars and 4th in the Ruby Qualifier. Michelle and El Nino Vivace also placed 7th in the Ruby Qualifier.
We then enjoyed a fantastic 4 days in at Melbourne Royal. A huge thank you and congratulations to the committee for returning Melbourne Royal show jumping to one of the premier shows in Victoria. We had super courses built by David Sheppard with fantastic gear and arena. Paul and our young Animate mare Aliyah had a 1st, 3rd and 4th in Part C along with Michelle and Archie placing 5th on the final day.
